About Tener's

People from all over the United States choose to shop at Tener’s. Some are local cowboys, some are just passing through town for Oklahoma’s premier rodeos—some are well-known rodeo stars, country singers or sports figures.

Why? It may be because we have the full range of Western gear. Boots, hats, belts, buckles, jewelry, jeans, shirts, skirts, jackets, tack, accessories—you name it, we have it at Tener’s. Thousands of boots, hundreds of hats, and a full-fledged hat bar with custom hat creasing. We carry popular brands like Cinch, Rocky Mountain, Cruel Girl, Wrangler, Double D Ranchwear, Justin, Rios of Mercedes, Wolverine, Resistol, Stetson and a whole lot more.

It’s true our selection is incredible, but we believe Tener’s success lies in what we call the Tener’s Tradition. Ray F. Tener opened his first Western store in 1930. His love of people and strength of character were the building blocks of the Tener’s Tradition. Nearly 80 years later, our stores are still owned and run by families born and raised in Oklahoma.

Although Tener’s has expanded to other locations, we have carefully maintained the same standard of excellence that established Tener’s as one of the finest Western wear operations in the Southwest. In fact, we were determined to take the Tener’s Tradition even farther, by offering our incredible selection of products online. You don’t have to wait until you’re driving through Oklahoma to get the best Western wear shopping—although we’d love it if you’d stop by—now you can get it online. It’s the same great experience—it’s just easier to get to now.
